The Portland Public Library will open its doors for artists ages 15 and up to participate in the 2nd year of our art show featuring the talent of Sumner County.

Interested artists can enter up to two pieces in this upcoming art show. Artists showing works appropriate for the family setting of the library will be invited to showcase their work(s) at the library from January 24 - February 28, 2026.

The submission deadline for entering your work via email is January 9, 2026.

The Friends of the Portland Library will host a free open house honoring the artists on January 24th, 2026 from 2:00 - 4:00pm. Refreshments will be served. All ages are encouraged to attend.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Artists must be at least 15 to participate. Artists MUST reside in Sumner County TN to participate. Artists may submit up to two pieces for consideration. Entries must be submitted via email. You will be asked to sign a waiver at the time of drop-off. There is no cost to enter. All submissions/entries must be received via email (or in person if necessary) no later than midnight January 9th 2026.  Artwork must be the original work of the named artist. All artwork is subject to acceptance for exhibition – entering the exhibit does not guarantee your work will be selected. Artists must agree to keep their submission on display through the duration of the exhibit period if selected.
