“COLOR MY WORLD”
A Children’s Art Exhibition
The Portland Public Library will open its doors for artists grades K-12 to participate in an all-new art show featuring the talent of Sumner County — Color My World.

Interested artists can enter up to two pieces in this upcoming art show. Artists showing works appropriate for the family setting of the library will be invited to showcase their work(s) at the library from June 28 - July 25, 2025.

The submission deadline for entering your work via email is June 14, 2025.

The Friends of the Portland Library will host a free open house honoring the artists on June 28th, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Refreshments will be served. All ages are encouraged to attend.

Deadlines for Entries: Midnight, June 14th 2025
Artwork drop-off dates: June14th-21st 2025​
Exhibit Period: June 28th-July 25th
Exhibit Open House: June 28th, 10am-12pm

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Artists must be in grades K-12 to participate. Artists MUST reside in Sumner County TN to participate. Artists may submit up to two pieces for consideration. Entries must be submitted via email. You will be asked to sign a waiver at the time of drop-off. There is no cost to enter. All submissions/entries must be received via email (or in person if necessary) no later than midnight June 14th 2025. Artwork must be the original work of the named artist. All artwork is subject to acceptance for exhibition – entering the exhibit does not guarantee your work will be selected. Artists must agree to keep their submission on display through the duration of the exhibit period if selected.
